Tallinn Maritime Days 2011 will divert traffic in town centre and open bicycle park
Bus no 2 will be re-routed from 8 am on 15 July to 11 pm on 17 July between D-terminal and A-terminal of the passenger harbour. The bus will drive on the route D-terminal, Lootsi St, Ahtri St, Mere St, Kai St, A-terminal, Sadama St, Põhja St, Suur-Rannavärav, Ahtri St, Lootsi St and D-terminal.
It is most convenient to visit Tallinn Maritime Days without car as this way you can best enjoy the seashore area of the Culture kilometre – by walking or cycling from Passenger harbour to Seaplane harbour and Peetri harbour (Port Noblessner). It is also possible to go on boat rides from Passenger harbour to Seaplane harbour and Peetri harbour that will be commuting especially for Tallinn Maritime Days. Boats will start at the Admiralty inlet in front of Harbour market. Tickets cost 2 euros.
At the Seaplane harbour there is free bicycle parking lot next to ticket booth and entrance. Volunteers of European Capital of Culture are guarding the parking lot and ask cyclists to make sure that they have locks and that they pick up the bicycles before closing time. The bicycle park is open on Friday 15 July from 14.00 to 20.30, on Saturday 16 July from 11.00 to 22.00 and on Sunday 17 July from 11.00 to 19.00.
